Who we are
Show Presenter is made and sold by Digital Entertainer Limited ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, number 05687461, whose registered office is at 2 Beacon End Courtyard, London Road, Stanway, Colchester, CO3 0NU, United Kingdom. Sax-n-Dotty.co.uk is a web site of Digital Entertainer Limited.
These terms are an agreement between you and us. They cover the Show Presenter app and this web site. By using either, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Show Presenter.
Buying Show Presenter
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Paddle takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt, and its buyer terms apply to your purchase. Prices are shown on our pricing page. Show Presenter is bought once: there's no subscription, and nothing renews.
You can ask for a refund within 14 days: see our Refund Policy.
Your licence
- When you buy Show Presenter you're given a licence key. It lets you install and use Show Presenter on as many PCs at once as the licence you chose allows (1 or 2), for as long as you like.
- You can move the licence from one PC to another by deregistering it on the old one.
- The licence is for you or your business. Please don't share your key publicly, sell it, or let others use it beyond its number of PCs.
- Without a licence, Show Presenter can be tried free for 15 days.
- Show Presenter checks its licence with our licence server from time to time. A licence that has been refunded or charged back stops working.
- If you bought Show Presenter before licence keys, with an order number, your purchase still counts: your order number and email get you a licence key for the same number of PCs.
Your music
Show Presenter plays music you provide. We don't supply any songs. You're responsible for having the right to copy and play the songs, videos and music you use, and for any licences needed to perform music in public where you host.
Using Show Presenter fairly
You mustn't use Show Presenter or this web site:
- for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or to send spam;
- to infringe anyone's copyright or other rights;
- to interfere with their security or working, for example by spreading malware, probing for weaknesses, scraping, or overloading them;
- to get round the licence or the trial, or to copy, modify or reverse engineer Show Presenter, except as the law allows.
Ownership
Show Presenter, this web site and everything in them, including their software, design and text, belong to us or our licensors. Buying a licence gives you the right to use Show Presenter as these terms describe; it doesn't transfer any ownership.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Show Presenter and this web site running well, but we can't promise that they'll always be available or free from errors. We may update, change or withdraw features, including online ones. Show Presenter itself keeps working on your PC without the internet, within the licence's offline period of 90 days.
Suspension and ending
We may suspend or end your use of Show Presenter, or cancel a licence, if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if payment isn't made or is reversed, or if we need to because of fraud or a risk to security. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.
Our responsibility to you
If you're a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to digital content that is faulty or not as described, and nothing in these terms affects them. Advice about your legal rights is available from Citizens Advice.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, we're not responsible for loss we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, and if you use Show Presenter for business, we're not responsible for loss of profit, business or data. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your licence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when Show Presenter changes. The date at the top says when they last changed. Changes don't affect a purchase you've already made in ways that reduce your rights.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you're a consumer, you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
